In the world of weddings, where tradition meets contemporary elegance, we had the honor of capturing Brooke’s bridal portrait session in Dallas. Brooke, a dedicated nurse at a local children’s hospital and a proud University of Arkansas alumna, embodies the spirit of spunk, glam, and modern romance as a bride. As we focused on celebrating her, we felt extra blessed to enjoy the company of her mom, grandmother and wedding planner, Amanda Durbin Designs.

We decided to host her session at The Mason in Dallas- a timeless venue in the heart of Downtown. The Mason boasts a breathtaking ballroom filled with stunning windows that cast a soft, natural light, open spaces that exude sophistication, and sparkling chandeliers that add the perfect touch of opulence.

Brooke’s sleek, romantic gown was nothing short of extraordinary. The dress featured clean lines, a sheer fitted bodice, and delicate floral appliqués. It effortlessly mirrored Brooke’s romantic, modern aesthetic.

While we typically approach weddings with a more candid approach as documentary photographers, this session allowed us to step outside of our norm while indulging in creative concepts we might not have had the opportunity to photograph on a typical wedding day.
