We couldn’t have asked for a better day for Lauren and Brad’s engagement session at the Texas Discovery Gardens, even if it was in the middle of August! Normally, we find ourselves hiding indoors during the scorching Texas heat. But the gardens were alive with color, and we all felt a little brave under the comfort of the gardens canopy of trees.

Lauren dazzled in a vibrant pink dress, perfectly capturing the playful summer vibes of the session and Brad couldn’t stop glowing. The bright hues of her outfit complemented the lush scenery, creating a kaleidoscope of color that was almost as magical as the couple themselves.

One of the best parts about shooting at Texas Discovery Gardens is the canopy of trees that creates a cooler, more refreshing atmosphere. It was easy to lose track of time as we wandered through the pathways, snapping shots of Lauren and Brad in moments of laughter, love and tenderness.

We couldn’t resist taking a stroll through the Butterfly House before leaving. Stepping inside felt like we’d been transported to a tropical destination which fit right in with our summer theme. The fluttering wings and vibrant colors were the perfect backdrop for some of our favorite shots of the day.

As the sun began to set, we wrapped up the session in downtown Dallas. The city skyline provided a stunning backdrop as Lauren and Brad popped a bottle of champagne, toasting to their love and the exciting journey ahead. It was a beautiful ending to a beautiful day.
