Adam & Guiomer’s romantic springtime LGBTQ garden wedding at The Springs Event Venue in North Texas was beyond anything I could have ever imagined!
We have had such a blast getting to know Adam and Guiomer over the last year. From Christmas card sessions at tree farms, full day engagement session shenanigans, bougie dinners and manyyyy late night meme exchanges, we’ve grown to feel like they’re more like a part of our family than clients. To say we were excited their wedding day was finally here would be a mega understatement.
The Wedding Day
Their wedding day started super calm and low key. Their group trickled into the venue to begin getting ready and have their rehearsal. They listened to music, cuddled with their fur baby, Paisley, and caught up with family and friends they hadn’t been able to see in a long time. We had a blast watching Adam and Guiomer get loved on as they got ready.
The Ceremony
Their outdoor ceremony was filled with laughter and happy tears while their dear friend/officiant, Byanka, beautifully combined touches of their cultures with their unique story and personalities. Adam wrote a poem that had everyone around (…including me) in tears. Their pup, Paisley, made sure to keep a close eye and loved on her Dads throughout the ceremony.
The Reception
Their reception was wildly unique and beyond gorgeous. Adam and Guiomer had a vision for the outdoor space that (literally) no couple before had ever done. They transformed the grassy areas and giant trees into a luxurious garden dream- custom dance floor, extravagant florals, hanging patio lights and all of their family and friends from the US and Venezuela. Their guests feasted on incredible food, delicious cake and cocktails while their live painter and DJ kept everyone having a blast! They wrapped up the dance floor insanity during Hora Loca with bubbles, LED wands, feather boas, dress up costumes and more! Everything was fair game and no matter where we turned there was more over the top fun happening.
The After Party
After their final reception exit, we went to their group of cabins for even more partying, dancing, drinking and fun. While Will and I ran out of fumes by 3am, Adam & Guiomer and their friends kept the party going for (literally) days!
These two beautiful men were loved on and celebrated epically and we were so happy to have been trusted with their story. They valued a great time, creative concepts and beyond everything else- to be loved on and celebrated as they are authentically. The Engagement Session
We had a blast with these two precious love birds for their urban inspired LGBTQ+ engagement session! Adam & Guiomer came to us after searching for queer friendly wedding photographers and wanting something over the top epic. Their unique wedding vision, incredible souls and desire to have a really freaking great time together was all we could ever hope for in a couple.
While planning their session, we went back and forth quite a bit on concepts and locations. They knew they wanted to feature Downtown Dallas but also really loved the idea of featuring nature and trees too as they are avid adventures themselves. We decided to kick the fun off at Prather Park and then head over towards Deep Ellum for some gorgeous urban wall art where we could feature their LGBTQ+ engagement session celebration with lots of color!
