Their love story unfolded in this whirlwind of intimate moments and global connections, creating a wedding saga that’s just as unique as they are.
From the get-go, it was evident that these two were all about weaving their tale across continents. I mean, seriously, meeting overseas in Europe and then setting up camp in South Africa during wedding prep before saying I Do in the USA? Talk about a love story with a serious case of wanderlust!

Day 1: The Ceremony
Stephanie and Arjan kicked things off with a super intimate “I Do” moment at Stephanie’s childhood home. Lakeside vows? Check. The cozy comfort of home? Double check. It was all about that personal touch. And let’s not forget those stunning portraits—seriously, these two were all about capturing the magic.
The ceremony, though, was the true pièce de résistance. With family and friends tuning in from the Netherlands, it was a global affair! Post-ceremony, the crew went full tourist mode, hitting the town for some sightseeing and a downtown dinner. Who said weddings were only about the “I Do’s”?
Day 2: The Reception
Day two rolled in with a more relaxed vibe, Stephanie holding it down at the Kaycee Hall while Arjan and his squad were off on more sightseeing adventures. They were really making every moment count, weren’t they?
The reception? It was all about community love! The “We Do’s” echoed through the venue as friends and family poured their hearts out in support during their Community Affirmation. Picture this: Arjan’s family serenading the couple with a Dutch tune, a slideshow that showcased Arjan’s epic achievements (Stephanie, naturally, topping that list), and hugs galore.
But wait, the party didn’t stop there! The dance floor was on fire as each chapter of their adventures came together for some serious boogie time. And capping it all off? A bubble exit that led these lovebirds off to their next epic journey, courtesy of Arjan’s brother.
