at The Noble Planetarium
Fort Worth Museum of Science & History
Hey everyone! This planetarium solar eclipse wedding was beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. It was such an honor to photograph this intimate Jewish ceremony during the DFW total solar eclipse at the beautiful Noble Planetarium! Every moment was planned with intention and this one-in-a-lifetime moment will be one their family celebrates for generations to come!
A Stellar Ceremony at the Fort Worth Science Museum
The day was already special with the rare celestial event, but adding a wedding to the mix was something straight up magical. The couple chose the Fort Worth Science Museum & Noble Planetarium as their venue. Can you believe they were the very first wedding in Noble Planetarium history to have their wedding INSIDE of the planetarium itself. Whoa!
The pitch black planetarium ceremony under their star-printed chuppah posed some unique challenges to light but it was nothing we couldn’t handle! After a brief showing of Texas in Totality, the couple began their vows. Surrounded by the wonders of science, their family and their closest friends, they said their “I Do” under a darkening sky outside and powerful star lit sky interior planetarium dome. The moment was otherworldly. As a Fort Worth wedding photographer, it was a dream to capture such a historic milestone for the couple, for DFW and for the Noble Planetarium.
The Magical Trolley Ride to Reatta’s Rooftop
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a trolley ride from the museum to Reatta’s rooftop restaurant just a few blocks over downtown. Imagine cruising through Fort Worth on a trolley with your closest friends and family, all the while the city basking in the unusual light of an eclipse.
An Intimate Reception with a View
Reatta’s rooftop provided an intimate setting for the reception. Fort Worth’s skyline as the eclipse faded was nothing short of breathtaking. The couple’s love and the joy of their guests filled the air as the moon slowly moved its way in front of the sun. This Fort Worth wedding was a true testament to the beauty of small, personal celebrations.
Respecting Privacy with a Personal Touch
As photographers, we always strive to respect our clients’ wishes. This beautiful couple requested that their faces not be shown online, but we were permission to be creative! We used emojis to cover their faces in the photos, allowing us to celebrate their love story with you while still maintaining their privacy.
Capturing the Magic of a Fort Worth Wedding
This wedding was one for the books. The combination of a total solar eclipse, a unique venue, and an intimate rooftop reception made for an unforgettable day. It reminded us of why we love being wedding photographers in Fort Worth – the blend of beautiful locations, amazing people, and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Whether you’re planning a planetarium wedding, a total eclipse wedding, or any other kind of special celebration, DFW has something incredible to offer. As a Dallas-Fort Worth wedding photographer, it’s a joy to capture these extraordinary moments.
Stay tuned for more love stories and wedding inspiration. Until next time!
